Half-Way There
I thought I'd make a little post since I am @ 20 weeks & half-way thru my pregnancy. Things are going great. I am pretty much on track with the weight gain & no sickness to report. I have been walking a mile on my lunch break everyday, and I think that has really been helping in a lot of ways. But I still pee, like all the time. Yesterday I counted 12 times!!
I can feel the baby move now, & it's really weird I'm not sure how to describe it. Some people told me it was like butterflies or a flutter. I have felt a muscle spasm feeling like when your eye spasms if you read for to long. But mostly it feels to me like my baby is streching or something, more like he/she is kicking or flipping inside there. I can't wait til Adam can feel it from outside my belly. Anyways, it's still kinda hard to imagine there's a little person inside me.
I know I probably shouldn't be worried about the big D-day yet, but I think about it all the time. I'm positive I want to do it as natural as possible. I shudder at the thought a a needle in my back. ughh. I don't want to even go to a hospital. I have been contemplating a home birth and doing a lot of research on it. I also found this random girls blog who gave birth at home and it kinda inspired me even more. The only thing is since it's my 1st I'm not sure of what complications could happen. But still, I really would rather not be in a hospital even though I think Adam would. So for now i have found the most "natural birth" friendly hospital I could.
I think Adam's getting excited even more now that I'm showing. It's so cute because he'll look at my belly and smile at me all googley-eyed. We scheduled the ultrasound for his birthday June 10th, to found out if it's a boy or girl and decided no more shopping til then.
