Getting Bigger.........

Evan is already growing up so fast!! Here's a picture of him watching the Obama Inauguration with his daddy!! He's already interested in politics:)

And grabbing and eating his link-a-doo's.

And here's a picture of him in his jumpy seat holding his head up so good.

To those of you who are wondering if I'm still doing the all natural mothering stuff, yes. I am still nursing but am also still supplementing with formula, I could never get my supply up enough even the Rx, Reglan, didn't help. But I feel good knowing that he is a least getting some breastmilk. The cloth diapering is also going great although I must say without the sprayer I may have given up b/c there is no way I am putting my hands in a toilet.
Also having the Kushies and bumGenius diapers are another reason I have kept up with it. I don't even use the prefolds or covers anymore, these all-in-ones just make cloth diapering so easy. It feels great knowing that I'm saving so much money and the environment at the same time.

Check out this dude's blog about how much money you save using even the expensive cloth diapers.

The only thing I've done that I hadn't planned was the vaccinations! There are only 2 states in the country that do not allow a religious or philosophical exemption from immunizing your children in order to enroll them in school (public & private), and Mississippi just happens to be one of them. I considered home-schooling, but we decided Evan needs to socialize with normal people outside of his family, so we're trying to delay and spread out the shots as much as possible.
And yes, I also wear my baby in a wrap and bed-share.
So call me weird if you must, I'm just doing what I think is best.

Sweet Home Mississippi

So it's seems like I've forgotten about my blog lately. It's hard to get on the computer between all the nursing and diaper changing and running around it seems like I have no structure or routine. My little break was short lived. My online classes start next week (I'm kinda dreading them but I have to keep my teaching license if I want to go back one day) and I've just started my 1st post-partum job as a tutor at St. Stanislaus, which is at most 4 hrs week, but I still missed my little Evan when I left for work. We've also been checking out a few options for opening Adam's practice. Y'all tell me what you think about the Vieux Marche in Biloxi vs Orange Grove in North Gulfport??? We're really pretty torn between the two locations. It's a pretty big decision and a little stressful but also very exciting, I can't wait to open the doors and get things going.
